Quinnipiac University Financial Technology Facilities

To prepare students interested in working on Wall Street, Quinnipiac University invested in a state of the art classroom experience, fully equipped with a functional trading floor with real-time access to market data. The Financial Technology Center’s design incorporated actual software and equipment used on Wall Street. Students learn with real-life situations, tracking market fluctuations, learning from actual market news, and this learning environment helps students compete for financial sector jobs.

The architectural space feels as if one is inside the mechanics and software running the markets. The mechanical systems and distributed wiring of the building are visible between and above a perforated serpentine ceiling. The walls are alive with information, projected and internally generated. By taking a seat in the space, you feel as if you have joined a living and breathing international market already in progress.
