A writer’s garret nestled into a Manhatten duplex.
The spaces were sculpted to create a suitable environment for writing. Surrounded by books, natural wood and personal artifacts, the author can be in her own silent, protected and private world, while also being in the center of New York City’s cultural activity.
Vaulted ceilings, millwork and bookcases create layers of sound isolation to help keep the rattle and bustle of the city outside.
