Your Title Goes Here
Sara is a licensed architect, a member of AIA, a LEED AP BD+C, and a PHI-certified Passive House Designer. She is also a founding member and Secretary for Connecticut Passive House.
Sara has been with Wyeth Architects since 2009, working on numerous residential and institutional projects. She is proud to have worked on Ireland’s Great Hunger Museum at Quinnipiac University, which houses the world’s largest collection of art and artifacts related to the Great Hunger, and an award-winning residence in Stonington that is Passive House Institute (PHI)-certified and U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) LEED Gold.
While her decision to attend Skidmore College was heavily influenced by its outstanding equestrian program, it was there she fell in love with theater and became involved in all aspects of stagecraft. Knowing she wanted to follow a career in architecture and design, Sara earned a Bachelor of Science with a self-determined major incorporating studies in technical theater, art history, and studio art. She went on to earn a Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania, where her studies ran the gamut from historic preservation to environmental building simulation.
Her love of theatre, historic preservation and restoration, and adaptive reuse came full circle when she got to work on the Legacy Theatre in Stony Creek, an 1860s summer community church that, after many iterations, is now a professional repertory theater that opened in the spring of 2021.
